4 years is a long time. For the Los Angeles Jewish community that number represents the last time they hosted The Great Lag B'Omer Parade.

So there's no wonder why there's such a buzz in the streets. When crowds gather and discuss the upcoming parade they begin to reminisce the good memories; the floats, the marching bands, the festive atmosphere, the pride and joy of Jewish life and traditions...

One memory the public can't stop talking about is a group of Scottish bag pipers; was that ever a treat!

You see, it's not often one gets to see or hear the trademark instrument of the Scottish people. Having a group of 7 pros taking part in the grand Lag B'Omer parade was truly memorable.

Well, whadayknow - They're coming back, and better than ever!

That's right! The Pasadena Scottish Pipes and Drums will be making an encore appearance, this time with a full 10-12 piece band.

"There's really nothing like it in the world," shared Dovi Gorelik, one of the parade organizers who was instrumental in securing the piper's return. "I remember how they sounded last time and trust me - doubling the band will take the experience to a whole new level!"

Well, there's only one way to find out. You gotta come and hear it for yourself.

Lag B'Omer: Sunday 18th of Iyar (May 14th). Rally @ 10:00 a.m., Parade @ 10:30 a.m.

See you there!
